In accordance with the latest IATA regulations, SCOUT is designed to assist the operator of our beltloaders with approaching the aircraft more safely.  SCOUT helps to keep the operator informed about distance to the aircraft throughout the vehicle operation to prevent cargo sill damage, etc.

SCOUT uses a reliable radar detector and optical sensors which makes the system less susceptible to false readings due to inclement weather such as heavy snow or rain.  As a final fail-safe, there is a built-in proximity sensor that further ensures the safety of the airplane by locking down the vehicle to prevent further advancement upon contact with the aircraft.
